Buying a Home

For most people, buying a home is the most important investment and there are many details to remember when purchasing a new home. As your buyers representative, one of the most important roles is to protect your best interest. Finding your next home can be a challenge and requires expertise in many areas, including the newest marketing medium and the internet! I have the resources and technology available today to help you locate the homes that match your specifications.

Purchasing a home can be complicated and time consuming. I start the process with a 'strategy' meeting where we get to know each other and set up a game plan for your purchase journey. It is important to know your particular needs and wants and how much you are comfortable spending before you begin your search. Understanding your price range as well as the closing costs involved is important. When determining your financing qualifications, the lender will look at a number of factors, including your gross income, your debt, your yearly taxes, heating costs, and other purchase costs. From these figures, they are able to determine how much you can reasonably spend on a new home. (Don't forget to allow for dinner and a movie occasionally when calculating your budget...)

I am always available to answer your buying or selling questions and I look forward to creating a personalized plan to guide you through your first or subsequent venture in the Greater Vancouver Real Estate market).
